Saint Catherine of Siena (1347–1380), a Dominican tertiary and mystic, is revered for her writings on faith, prayer, and Church reform. Declared a Doctor of the Church, she is honored as a patron saint of Italy and of Europe, continuing to inspire Christians with her courage and devotion to Christ.
